5G cell towers

When 5G towers began appearing in neighborhoods worldwide, a curious phenomenon emerged: some people started getting sick. Severe headaches, insomnia, heart palpitations, cognitive fog, chronic fatigue. Some reported symptoms so debilitating they had to leave their homes entirely, relocating to areas without tower proximity.

These people were largely dismissed as being hysterical, experiencing psychosomatic symptoms, or suffering from "nocebo effect". Their testimonies were scoffed at, ignored, relegated to fringe forums and conspiracy boards.

But let's be clear about what we're actually discussing: electromagnetic field radiation. That's what EMF means — radiation. Cell towers emit radiofrequency radiation to transmit data wirelessly. This isn't disputed. It's the foundational technology.

The question isn't whether cell towers emit radiation, then. They objectively do. The question is whether that specific type of radiation affects human biology — or at what exposure levels.

5G operates on millimeter waves (24-100 GHz), much higher frequency bands than 4G's sub-6 GHz range. These shorter wavelengths require vastly more transmission points to maintain coverage, meaning towers must be placed closer together—often every few hundred feet in urban areas.

The telecommunications industry and regulatory bodies insist current exposure limits are safe, based largely on thermal effects — whether the radiation heats tissue enough to cause damage. This completely ignores possible non-thermal biological effects: disruption of cellular communication, oxidative stress, DNA damage, possible impacts on the blood-brain barrier, and so on.

Likewise, many studies attempting to link cell phone radiation to brain tumors have produced inconclusive or negative results, leading to widespread claims that EMF concerns are unfounded. But absence of definitive proof isn't proof of safety — especially when those studies examine effects over relatively short timeframes and don't account for cumulative exposure from multiple sources.

Because of this, I suggest you lean on your intuition a bit here: Does it feel wise or healthy to sleep with your phone six inches from your head for eight hours per night? To carry it in your pocket against your reproductive organs all day? And if it doesn't seem wise, why do you think that is?

  1. Minimize direct contact during use: Never hold your phone against your head during calls. Use speakerphone whenever possible. If privacy is needed, use wired (not wireless) headphones, which at least prevent the concentrated radiofrequency beam from targeting your skull directly.

  2. Keep phones away while sleeping: Charge your phone in another room, or at minimum, place it across the room in airplane mode. Your brain does restorative work during sleep—don't subject it to hours of radiofrequency exposure during this critical recovery period.

  3. Turn off Wi-Fi at night: Use a timer to automatically disable your router during sleep hours. This reduces your household's ambient radiofrequency exposure for 6-8 hours daily—a meaningful reduction in cumulative exposure.

  4. Strengthen your nervous system: Since complete EMF avoidance is unrealistic, focus on supporting your body's resilience. The Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie helps remove heavy metals that can amplify radiation's effects. Prioritize foods rich in antioxidants to combat the free radical damage radiofrequency creates.

  5. Create low-EMF zones: Designate certain areas of your home—particularly bedrooms—as low-EMF spaces. No Wi-Fi routers, minimal devices, wired connections when possible. Your nervous system needs refuge from constant radiofrequency bombardment.

{Mind}

Ego destroyer

Evolution shaped the primate mind to be intensely self-involved. This makes sense; organisms not overly concerned with themselves ran the risk of extinction.

Humans inherited this blueprint. We carry the genetic code and karmic imprints of our chimpanzee ancestors, hardwired to prioritize self-preservation above all else. But humans also stand at a unique threshold: we possess the capacity to transcend these survival-based patterns entirely.

This transcendence — the dissolution of the separate self — eventually leads to what yogis call sat chit ananda: Self-aware bliss that replenishes endlessly from within rather than without.

The dissolution process accelerates dramatically under the right conditions. In my experience, nothing destroys the ego's grip more effectively than these two practices:

  1. Surrendering one’s preferences to God

The ego constructs an entire worldview based on conditioned beliefs — how reality works, what has value (and therefore what doesn’t), and why things happen. From these beliefs emerge preferences: likes and dislikes, attractions and aversions.

You believe success requires competition, so collaborative approaches are avoided. You believe this relationship completes you, so it is desperately clung to. You believe my diet is the best diet, thus creating endless rules to proselytize about.

These preferences could be true, but they aren't Truth. They're the ego's interpretation of reality filtered through conditioning.

To surrender your preferences to God (e.g. "Thy will be done") dismantles this structure. You stop demanding reality conform to your conditioned desires and instead open to what actually Is. This creates space for Truth to reveal itself beyond the narrow confines of what you've been programmed to think and want.

  1. Asking for help

The ego loves (almost) nothing more than thinking it has control over the way things are, conveniently overlooking how dependent it is on countless other beings and processes for its survival and overestimating its role in whatever grace it receives.

This is the "I pulled myself up by my bootstraps" delusion — as if you created your own brain, grew your own food, and built the infrastructure supporting your existence!

Thus to admit “weakness” — to ask for help in any capacity — is devastating for the ego’s cherished worldview. It forces the recognition that you are not, and have never been, independent.

This is why Buddhist monks traditionally rely entirely on others' charity for food — not out of laziness, but as a daily practice of humility. Each meal becomes a reminder: God and the interconnected web of existence is the actual provider of my well-being, not the mind’s plotting and scheming.

If you'd like support integrating these practices into your life, listen to the guided meditation below.

“Real wisdom is recognizing and accepting that every experience is impermanent.” — S.N. Goenka

“Real wisdom is recognizing and accepting that every experience is impermanent.” — S.N. Goenka

A film — with its multitude of light, shadow, characters and plots — is projected onto a movie screen, but is not the movie screen itself.

Said plainly, your experience — no matter how insignificant, harrowing or beatific it can get — is still just the content of Life, not its context…

…and, in time, content has this curious tendency to disappear.

Do not transform these words into fuel for your ego’s nihilism. Just because everything is transient doesn’t mean everything is meaningless. No, simply surrender to God what is here knowing that one day it will be other. That’s all. Then watch as experience expresses its radiance once again, and you can truly enjoy the brief meeting together.
